- Scope and Content“Thank you! Some days I feel better than others, but am too weak to go into town. I hope you have and will benefit for the change to Norway. It seems to me “a complete winding up” will have to take place, there are eight of us scattered about – Australia, New Zealand, America. Will you advise Messrs Graham, Solicitors of Abingdon (I believe), who act for Uncle Johns daughter of Mamma’s death. Mr H F Lloyd (Solicitor) of Newport has seen to the probate matter re Mamma’s private estate – which is to be equally divided between Bessie & Flora – the two unmarried daughters. Can you come here soon & talk matters over. I can put you up for the night or you could come to New Barnet Station on the main line and take a cab here about two miles, or come to Hadley Wood Station & if I knew in time the train you were coming by I would have you met as there are no cabs at that Station. Of course if you were coming from Town you would come direct here. Hope my Aunt is better for the change to Buxton. Please remember me very kindly to her”
