- Scope and ContentThanks for cheque from Mrs Jennings. Why is there something to pay to Lord Redesdale on that property? “I believe Mr King is Mrs John Matthews brother. I remember she had a brother Edward and I understood he was so from that letter of John’s that I sent you. Mr Winter saw the agreement about the bonded stores and said it was all right just as all those things were made out, but if you think it better to send if for you to see I shall be very glad to do so, if you will kindly say so, it is only let for one year at present but they wanted to have it on lease but we did not know the parties…Mr Woollett thinks I had better try a prescription that I have had from Henry Foquett for Flora for three months, he does not think that it would be of any benefit to her to go to a London doctor, so that I think I shall defer it for a time. I am very much obliged to you all the same for your kind invite for us both.”
