- Scope and Content“Thank you very much for so kindly and promptly sending me your cheque for the interest due May 10th, also for writing to Mr Graham about the house – I had no idea that Fanny had been to Biggleswade, I only had heard that they were all very poorly and gone to Reading for change. I am so glad they are better. I dare say you are not sorry to have a rest day tomorrow, for most persons brains appear overwrought who are trying to get on. I hope dear Carrie and her little son are well your grandchild (as yet), does not make as much noise as my two, but I am thankful to say they are strong & well. John & Maggie say is very cold in Edinburgh they are glad they did not take the children with them. With fond love to yourself & dear Sarah”
