- Scope and Content“We are obliged for this account of news received. We have not got any account of what received by Mr John Matthews and cannot therefore send you any statements. We shall be glad to have a detailed statement showing the amount due to Mr W. R. Matthews. Will you please let us know if the property is insured and if so to what amount. We think that it should be insured now if it has not already. We have seen Mr King today who is thinking to appoint Messrs Acock & Hanks to secure the rent. Will you let us know if you have any objection to them. We gave the notice to the tenant under Mr King’s instructions, it was only because we could get no statement from you that we did so.”
