“I did not get my cheque for 24 June quarter until to weeks after due the Sanitary Committee are not regular as the Board of Guardians have to delay and being disappointed in receipts for private business several large sums in actions and enfranchisement business will I expect not be paid until November. I am as surveyor in an action at Gloucester for Monday next. A little time will oblige.”
