Letter from John Rowlands “The late Mr Matthews at Cardiff give me orders to put all his houses in thourough good repair last michelmas and I did so and Mr Westmacott examined the work and the bill and said it was all right and in May last Mrs Jennings chimney partly fell down on the brewhouse and broke it in and Mr John Mathews gave the orders to have it done I thought it might be better to put it in two separate bills and have done so.”
