He was putting wheat in the holes for Mr Richardson on Mr Line's land. In the afternoon they sent him for 2 quarts of beer and after drinking some of it went to sleep. He saw Richardson afterwards put his hand into Brandsom's pocket and take something out; he then put his hand back into the pockets and said 'come on boys, let us go home now.'
