Copy of letter from Borough Engineer to Messrs H Payne Wyatt Son & Partner giving the outcome of the consideration of the Twon Planning Committee, asking for an alternative scheme for the pavement lights. 'It was decided under the circumstances not to schedule [the Prioratus] as an historic building, but it was suggested tht Messrs E P Rose & Son should be asked to erect a suitable plaque on the front of the altered building commemorating the Prioratus.' With reply on both points.
