    ---To William How, St Albans, common brewer; Fran Carter Searancke, Bishop's Hatfield, common brewer; niece Jane Elliott, daughter of John, Friday Street, Cheapside, London, painter, by his wife, Mary, and now resident with me ----£400 3% Consols. on trust to pay interest etc to sister Elizabeth Bondy, Dagnall Lane, St Albans, widow, for life, and after her death to niece Jane Elliott, and her children if she dies before entitled to receive it. If dies before aunt Elizabeth and without children then £400 to transfer to testator's nieces, Lydia Atkins and Elizabeth Elliott equally. ---to said niece Lydia Atkins, daughter of sister Judith, by Francis Atkins of Cemetery Lane, London, watchmaker. ----£400, another part of said 3% Consols. --- to said niece Jane Elliott ----£400 remaining part of said Consols, ----£1,200 in 5% Bank annuities ---to niece and god daughter, Mary How, wife of said William How ----10 guineas for a ring reason she has not received equal share with other niece and god daughter Lydia Atkins is that she has been amply provided for. ---to brother John Elliott ----use of silver cup for life at his death, to be given to son John Elliott. ---to nephew Samuel Elliott, son of John 10 guineas for a ring as token of regard. ---to said William How and Francis Carter Searancke 10 guineas each for a ring. ---to niece Jane Elliott all household goods, furniture, plate, china, wearing apparel. ---to each of brothers and sisters a mourning ring. Residue to Jane Elliott. Trustees appointed executors. Witnesses Jno Boys, St Albans, Jn Sanders, St Albans. Probate (PCC) Sworn at under £5,000.
