Scope and Content
To be buried at Harpenden.
To Richard Jeremiah Wall, Bell Yard, gent and Thomas Burchmore, Harpenden, farmer in trust
- all freehold and copyhold lands and also leasehold estates trust - profits to wife for life. After her decease:
estates at Coldharbour in Harpenden purchased of John Sharp, William Gee and Richard Lines in Wheathamstead and Harpenden (except 2 freehold tenements near Mills) upon further trust to raise £400 for 2 daughters Sophia Waraker and Mary Webb Waraker to be equally divided between them when 21. If daughters die under 21 then £400 to go to daughters Elizabeth Green, wife of John Green, Hony Lane Market, butcher.
After decease of wife
---- estates (subject to payment of said £400)
--- to son John Milnes Waraker. If he dies under 21, then estates to be held in trust for son, Thomas. If he dies under 21, then to 3 daughters.
---- freehold estate at Harpenden in which he now dwells, purchased from William Dunkley, after wife's death to be held in trust to raise by mortgage £150 to be divided among daughters wehn 21. If only one surviving daughter, then £100 only. Then estates to be held by son Thomas. If he dies under 21, then by John Milnes, he paying to daughters £100 instead of £50. Then to 3 daughters.
Said Richard Jeremiah Wall is indebted by bond of a sum of money, and interest.
---- said sum is geven to RJ Wall as recompense for trouble in execution of will.
Son in law is indebted in £300

----liquors and housekeeping articles in house in Bell Yard, Harpenden for her use.

----2 freehold messuages near Batsford Mills in Harpenden, in occupation of William Whitaker and - Prentice, with 2 fields arable adjacent and all other property near Paper Mills called Pitford or Pigford Mills in Wheathamstead in occupation of - Low (excepted in earlier part of will)
----all leasehold property in Harpenden, all live and dead stock, all ready money and personal estate, in trust to covert into money to pay debts, to pay off mortgages, and over plus to be divided among children. If personal estate not sufficent to do these, then estates near Mills shall not be sold but shall be held in trust for daughters.
Wife appointed guardian of children.
