Letter torn, top part and part of left side of front: From: No. 61452 Hut D2, E Company, 3rd Bedfordshire Regiment, Landguard Camp, Felixstowe. Dear Mama, My arm will be better then I shall be put on duty excused from all drilling The food here is about the fellows grumble On reverse to do at present. I was becoming quite famous at Bedford as a portrait artist. I spent last Tuesday evening at Miss Adam’s with Steve and Mr and Mrs Mann whom we took to the station. Please cheer up and hope for the best. I am Yours lovingly Cyril
