    Includes letter from M Morgan, dated 1 October, stating that Mrs Lewis is not in a position to satisfy the claim except by very small instalments. If pressure was put on her it would have the effect of driving her to make an arrangement with her creditors for the payment of so much in the £. Asks minimum payment that would be acceptible. Reply from R.C. Slade & Son states that no arrangement could be made with Mrs Lewis, and the matter is now in the hands of T J Hooper.
