Letter from R.C. Slade & Son to T J Hooper. As yet have had no applications for the stores, despite advertising and contacting all likely buyers in Newport and Cardiff.
Unable to hazard a guess at value. Knight, who kept the stock account may be able to arrive at the value fairly accurately, but the writer has difficulty getting information from him.
The stock books are in the possession of W H Matthews.
The bonded stock may be worth £200 - £250, but cannot say that with certainty.
