Title
Letter from R.C. Slade & Son to T J Hooper. Have not yet received the samples, as they need to be passed through customs. Mr Lancefield is to arrange this. Have not yet had any applications. Trade is very slow at present. Mrs Matthews says all the stores belonging to the estate are to be sold. Mr W H Matthews told the writer previously that he had arranged with his Mother to take the bulk of the stores and only sell what he did not want. Asks if W H Matthews is to have any of the stores.
Have called on the most likely people to buy, but they are at present stocked.
