“At the request of your brother Mr John Matthews I send you a copy of my valuation of your property at Moreton. I have gone into the matter with great care as to repairs and outgoings and given my opinion of value to the best of my judgement. I have been ten years occupier of the house I live in, am satisfied with my landlord and shall be sorry to have the connection severed.”
