Entries describe changes in the weather (temperatures given occasionally), and work activities carried out by workers/members of the family ( e.g. carting, milking, fence repair, dung cart, sawing logs) often denoted by initials, problems with machinery and vehicles, deliveries to the farm, number of eggs and farm animals giving birth with number of young. Memoranda as to cows and calving at front. Entries not as consistently made as they had been in previous years.
