- Scope and ContentI am to remind you that the Accounts which are required by the provisions of Section 44 of the Act 18 and 19 Vict. C. 124 to render to the Charity Commissioners respecting the above-named Charity are in arrear, and I am to request your immediate attention to those provisions from which the following is an extract:- “ The Trustees or Administration of every Charity shall, on or before the 25th day of March in every year, or such other day as may be fixed for that purpose by the Board, prepare and make out the following Accounts in relation thereto (that is to say): The letter then goes on to explain in notes 1 – 4. I am accordingly to request that Accounts for the years 1922, 1923, 1924, and 1925 may be transmitted. I enclose forms in which these Accounts may be duly made out in these forms and sent to me within 21 days from the date of this letter. Additional copies of the forms may be procured from Messrs. Shaw & Sons, Fetter Lane. E.C.4. I am further to request that the trustees will at their next meeting give such directions as will ensure the transmission of the Accounts with regularity in future years.
