  • Date free text
    21 November 1996
  • Production date
    From: 1994 To: 1998
  • Scope and Content
HM Queen Elizabeth II visiting Harrowden Middle School (or possibly Westbourne Centre, Queens Park) with pupils and staff looking on. N.B. Whilst this photograph was catalogued by the Beds on Sunday as being taken at Harrowden Middle School, this is uncertain. The image is undated and also the children pictured are too young to be middle school pupils. Some appear to be wearing a uniform red jumper - however institution name is illegible. The website for The Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire lists an official royal visit to the county as occurring on 21 November 1996 where HM Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip visited Harrowden Middle School, but on the same day Queen Elizabeth also visited Westbourne Centre, Queens Park. This was the only visit listed to Harrowden Middle School.
