Thank you for your letter of the 18th instant which I will submit to the General Purposes Committee at its next meeting. My own feeling is that the Town Clerk should be nominally the Secretary and the work would then be done in the office and fitted in with the ordinary office routine. Perhaps, therefore, you would like to forward the correspondence, books and documents to me. I am looking into the question of the market and will communicate with you again.
