At a meeting of the Municipal Charities, it was resolved that you be invited to become a Trustee in the place of Canon Colnhurst who has left. The meetings only take place once a year and the Charities themselves comprise of four Charities in the town of Bedford with a total income of approximately £200.00. This is used for the benefit of those in need. I should be grateful if you can see your way clear to accept.
