I have to inform you that Mrs. Florence M. Short of 30 Cricket Lane, Goldington, has been admitted to St. Peter’s Hospital, Bedford, and I understand that there is little hope of her being discharged to her former home. Mrs. Sarah Anne Bell of 2 Old Ford End Cottages has died and I shall be obligued if you will let me know the names and addresses of two persons to fill these vacancies. They were both in receipt of 3/2d per week from the Dunham Charity. The distribution of the Ann Collins Charity is due next month and I shall be glad if you will let me have the cheque as soon as possible. 30th October 1948
