The attention of the Bedford Council of Social Service has been called to the large number of charities in Bedford and the lack of cooperation between them – more particularly with regard to the applicants who in many cases are believed to go from charity to charity without any information being passed on about them. We are informed that a committee with you as Chairman, is in existence investigating this question and I am instructed to ask you to be good enough to let me know if this is so, and if you think the Council of Social Services could render any assistance to the committee.
