    i) Graveley Norton, Offley, Hertfordshire, esquire ii) William Burr, Sharpenhoo in Streatley, yeoman Thomas Burr, youngest son of William Burr Conveyance (Bargain and Sale enrolled) by i) to ii) for 10s and £500 to be paid later according to a previous agreement, of: ... close of pasture heretofore part of Greate Meade, with the quick hedge being a fence to the said close on the East and next to a way or lane leading from Sharpenhoo to a water mill called the Graunge Mill, and so much ground out of the said lane or way running the whole length of the quick hedge and next to the same hedge on that side of the lane as shall make a good, substantial yard ditch with all other hedges, ditches, etc., making in all 16 acres ... 2 closes as they now lie divide with quick hedges called Souters Feilde containing by estimation 14 acres all of which premises lie in the parish of Streatley or some parish adjoining, and are now in the tenure of Robert Woodward and Thomas Tayler of Sharpenhoo, with all timber ... a way of passage in, through and over the lane or way leading from Sharpenhoo to the Graunge Mill, with free liberty of ingress etc. for William and Thomas Burr and heirs etc. to go with carts, horses, carriages and to drive and fetch cattle to and from the said pasture grounds and from a close of meadow of William Burr called Fann Meadow, to the grange called Pulloxhill or Harlington Grange signed: Graveley Norton witnesses: Christopher Cratford, John Michell 5 Feb 1642 marked: "No.12"
