- Scope and ContentSon Francis attended a ball at Mrs Jeffreys. Mrs Lake has heard several times from her husband. She has been very successful in weaning her little boy, who has grown much stouter. Mention of the unpleasant affair of Mr Gore [of Tring Park] and things to be sold. There are a number of pictures, but very few good ones; china in great abundance, and linen, also furniture and outdoors stock.
