Indenture of feoffment 2 Feb 1786 between 1) John Baringer and Elisabeth his wife and 2) Richard Grindon, 3) Jefferry Woodham, William Lawson, John Bayes, Charles Harper, Thomas Cowdall, Philip Harper, William Curtis, Simon Dickins, Stephen Dickins and Samuel Tyson whereby 1) sold to 2) and 3) ground and premises to the use of the Body church of Protestant Dissenters and at the costs of the said church to erect and build a meeting house of the particular Baptist Denomination. Covenants for change of trustees and to let or sell the building if not wanted for a meeting house.
- all that now erected messuage tenement or building called the Protestant dissenting meeting house and now used for the public worship of God with the ground thereto adjoining in Sharnbrook together with the ground whereon the same stands described as a piece or parcel lying and being at the north west corner or part and formerly part of an orchard and formerly in the occupation of John Barringer of the dimensions east to west of 15 yards including the fence on each side and from north to south 18 yards including the fence on each side.
