- Scope and ContentThe Official Trustees of Charitable Funds hold in trust for the above-mentioned Charity a Bedford Corporation Mortgage, No. 149 (1) securing a sum of £1000, with interest at the rate of 4 ¾ per cent. per annum. The Corporation have given notice of their intention to repay the loan on the 31st March 1933, and have at the same time intimated that they are prepared to renew the loan as from that date with interest at the rate of 4 per cent. Per annum. A reply by 1st September next is requested as to whether you desire to renew the loan on the terms now offered. 22nd August 1932 Reply written on the back of this letter from S. R. Wells. Requesting that the loan be renewed on the terms offered by The Bedford Corporation, in accordance with your letter. 24th August 1932
