'75 Years of Building Innovation. 1921 - 1996'. This booklet has been produced to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Building Research Station (BRS) in 1921. It outlines the history of BRS, the Forest Products Research Laboratory and the Fire Research Station until their amalgamation with BRS to form the Building Research Establishment (BRE) in 1972.
