Edward Bawden at the opening of the exhibition of his work 'Sixty Years of Art & Design', which also celebrated his 86th birthday. The exhibition was held at the Cecil Higgins Art Gallery. Mr Bawden designed the material, the linocut and the garden seat on which he is pictured. Edward Bawden, CBE RA was an English painter, illustrator and graphic artist, known for his prints, book covers, posters, and garden metalwork furniture.
