Devises to Hugh Cooke of Upper Sundon, his messuages and lands in Upper Sundon [no details], charged with payment of rents to Elizabeth Walker (wife of Edward Walker of Leighton Buzzard, innholder); and after his decease, to Nehemiah Brandreth of Dunstable, gentleman, and Thomas Reed of Wingfield in Chalgrave, yeoman, in trust for Elizabeth Cooke (daughter of Hugh Cooke) and her heirs; and in default, to Richard Ashwell of Eaton Bray, yeoman. And to William Newland of London, baker, his lot of land (purchased of Francis Peacock and wife Jane), in Stanbridge in Leighton Buzzard; charged with payment of legacies to Henry and Thomas Newland (brothers of William Newland). (Legacies to the heir of Rebecca Taylor of Stoke Hammond (county Buckinghamshire), Jane Peacock (now living with Edward Walker), the wife of John Moreton of Dunstable, collar-maker, the daughter of Edward Sear of Leighton Buzzard, deceased, and the wife of Edward Holt of Dunstable, carpenter).
