1) John Ambrose Walton, Bedford, grocer 2) Mary Coleman, Bedford, widow, grocer 3) Cadman Hodgkinson, Dowgate Hill, London, merchant John Furze, Bedford, gentleman reciting that a marriage had been arranged between 1) and 2) and that 2) is entitled to the inheritance in fee simple of certain freehold hereditaments at Carlton derived under the will of Joseph Coleman, her late deceased husband, and of other property, and that 2) also carries on the trade of grocer and has a large stock of goods, in return for which 1) will settle on 2) £4,000 Settlement on marriage: Mutual covenants.
