Answers so soon as does not love dispute, or argument in near connections. Let all be buried. Asked for writing in great simplicity, for copy taking, no mention made of sealing. If not as a right thing to have them does not desire it, but then desires to have them to look over and put into a Box to be sealed and lodged with description where they are in hands of 3rd person and so have business finished, not left as now in improper way, not like people of business. Now wants the title to Tythe land examined to make claim which he believes will be disputed. Complains writing things of consequence & yet all lawyers let them lie about from generation to generation. Mr Maysey insisted on him writing letter yesterday which may be taken amiss but he has bought more malt than has money to pay for.
