Sent for Mr He[a]ly today. Desire you to foward preliminaries at £1250 & will leave 5 guineas to Mother to give or not. It is well sold & they would not have gone higher. Saw Mr Baldwin. No purchaser since. Thinks at a stand & tennants not generous. Spoke to Crane & another about Walham Green. Saw Scot. No success in finding purchaser. Is sorry made little girl's visit so short by a day. Mr & Mrs Julian have disappointed. Money will be at Childs any day.
