Earnest acknowledgement for kind & handsome manner WH complies with request respecting Bledlow Estate. Will consult solicitor about possibility of WH's annuity not appearing but may be difficulties making title without WH being party to conveyance. Wishes will be complied with in fullest manner possible. Greatest pleasure to receive him at Southill, so long delayed. Shall move there to settle with family about middle of October & happy to see him any time after twentieth. But for thunderstorms harvest finished. Yield probably be abundant. Rain enables them to sow turnips & provided winter not severe, will be of great use. It is not the College of Eton who wish to purchase but an application from another Quarter through their Bursar. Forgot to mention, annual payments from Bledlow again in arrears. Mr Runting to inform them he must be paid.
