    Is very ready to release any claim he has on Bledlow Estate respecting Annuity & to accept personal security in aid of Walham Green Estate for payment of it. Remembers signing undertaking postponing Annuity till interest of some money Father borrowed had been paid which he supposes in the mortgage mentioned. Glad to read good account of himself & Mrs Whitbread & family. Wants much to wait on him when at Southill disengaged, convenient & settled there. Has an engagement to meet Mr Baker & Mr Gough on agreement for Tring Grove. Since warm weather came has gained strength in ankle & is far from Gout, but is most horribly deaf so as at times disagreeable in company, but what can old man of 68 expect.
