Maria Edgeworth to Lady Elizabeth Whitbread

Has decided they stay in England till spring. Eldest brother brought his little brother Francis to England to school at the Charter House and Mrs Edgeworth has sent her daughter Fanny so now is happy having two sisters with her. Now at Trentham, return Friday to friends and relations at Byrkley Lodge near Lichfield and shall be there till beginning February. Conscience and inclination lead to long-promised visit to Mr & Mrs Hope. If they should get as far as Deep Dene, that is within 20 miles of Kensington Gore. Can Lady E. receive them for a week in February or March, there are three of them so think three times before answering.
