Is sorry Pitman is to be called in; the writer does not think it will be useful 'and in doing so Bute shows want of appreciation of what is due to us.' Reference to contractors to complete work. Mention of a Bill in Parliament and Lord Redesdale. Writer has been grieved by part of Bute's letter regarding his cousin James Frederick Dudley Crichton-Stuart; 'it is altogether a state of matters which is most painful'.
