    Is sending an agreement for signature for the sale of some land in Cardiff to a railway company. Lady Bute and son are to reach Cardiff today. Is in correspondence with Farrers about the interest payable on Crawley's money; 'we must do all we can to get the whole of the stipulated amount.' Reference to paying off a portion of the debt. Mention of Lord James Stuart, who must be restrained from dealing with the trust without reference to the trustees; hopes it will not be necessary to instruct Coutts that the signatures of all trustees are required for any transaction.
