… to 2 sons and son-in-law, John Lilley, William Lilley and John Burr - messuage or cottage and lands belonging at Radwell in Felmersham, in occupation of Joseph Huckle - messuage or cottage with pightle of pasture adjoining at Radwell Moore End, Felmersham - 3 messuages or cottages and close pasture adjoining and 4 acres pasture and 20 acres arable in Kempston, lately purchased of William Long and --- Walker, gentleman - all other real estate to be held in trust for sale and then to pay legacies … to son John Lilley - £400 … to son William Lilley - £400 … to daughter Elizabeth Burr, wife of said John Burr - £400 … to daughter Mary Risely, wife of William Risely of Wilstead, farmer - £400 - all household goods in and about the parlour and things contained in the cupboards therein … to son Thomas Lilley - interest of £400 to be paid yearly after his decease, principal sum to be divided between his children - Samuel Lilley, John Lilley, Matthew Lilley, William Lilley, West Lilley, Ann Lilley, Mary Lilley, Elizabeth Lilley and Joseph Lilley - wearing apparel whether woollen or linen - £10 in money … to grandchildren, Thomas Sheffield, John Sheffield, Ivel [?Joel in AL727] Sheffield and Sarah Sheffield, children of late daughter Susannah Sheffield - £50 each to be paid when youngest grandchild is 21, together with interest from date of his death John Lilley and John Burr to make inventory and valuation of farming, cattle, personal estate etc. to let William Lilley 'have upon their right and true valuation his full compliment of his whole legacy .. of four hundred pounds to enable him to go on with my farm or business' whatever remains, ready money, all other farming stock, to go to sons John and William Lilley and son-in-law John Burr to be equally divided between them … to housekeeper Mary Selby - £5 over and above her wages John and William Lilley and John Burr appointed joint executors, trustees and guardians for grandchildren copy signature of John Lilley copy signature of Thomas White and mark of James Haines Whitley, witnesses
