    Reference to leaving Dungannon 'what is is to leave the the happy home of your life'. Describes arrangements for the move. Reference to the health of daughter Flora. Refers to a meeting where an address was made about Thomas Knox. 'They said it was the largest meeting ever known in Dungannon; the house would not hold the people.' Mentions the vault [where husband Thomas Knox is buried?] as being 'exactly under the gravel walk, trampled on by every creature who went in and out of church'. Has got permission to get the walk turned and the vault railed in, as well as to put something in the church. Describes journey. Mentions Thomas Knox [3rd Earl of Ranfurly], and making daughter Flora housekeeper.
