- TitleLegal opinion of Richard Preston on Lincolns Inn relating to the arrears of rent on properties forming the Langston Trust.
- Date free text18 Nov 1817
- Production dateFrom: 1817 To: 1817
- Scope and ContentThe trustees cannot excuse the tenants from payment of rents due, nor can they enforce payment of rents as far as tenants have the means of payment without being answerable for the loss. James Haughton Langston reached his majority in May 1817, and is now tenant for life in possession; he must either bear the loss of the rents by making payment to the trustees, or the trustees must enforce that payment of arrears.
