    3 Mar1745: marriage of [our daughter] Elizabeth Hope to Cornelis Jongsma. 1 Oct 1745: death of [granddaughter] Anna Hope, aged 2 3/4, daughter of Zachary Hope and Agatha van Vlierden, buried in the French church. 30 Dec 1745: birth of [granddaughter] Agatha Maria Hope, daughter of Zachary Hope and Agatha, being named after her Mother and Aunt. 31 Aug 1747: birth of [grandson] Archibald Hope, son of Zachary Hope and Agatha van Vlierden, named after his Grandfather Archibald. 12 Sep 1747: death of Agatha van Vlierden at age of 32 years 8 months; buried in the New Church on the 18th. 3 Oct 1752: death of [our dear Mother] Anna Claus, widow of Archibald Hope, at age of 77 years, 2 months and 4 days, at 6.30am; buried in the French church 30 Jun 1754: death of [brother] James Hope, aged 53 years, 6 months and 17 days, about 12 o'clock in the morning; buried in the French church 6 July at Rotterdam. 12 Jul 1758: death of [sister] Margaret Marcelis, wife of brother Thomas Hope, aged 53 years, 4 months and 12 days. Died and buried in Amsterdam. 5 Apr 1767: death of [brother] Isaac Hope, aged 63 years, 6 months and 18 days. Buried 10 Apr in the French church at Rotterdam. 5 May 1768: death of [brother] Cornelis Jongsma, husband of [sister] Elizabeth Hope, aged 55. Buried in 'our grave' in the French church. 16 Mar 1770: death of [brother] Zachary Hope, aged 57 years and 26 days; buried in the New Church near his wife. 20 Aug 1770: death of [sister] Elizabeth Hope, widow of Cornelis Jongsma. Buried 25 Aug in 'our grave' in the French church. 18 Jul 1774: death of [aunt] Anna Hope, aged 68 years, 3 months and 11 days, at 6pm. Buried 23 July in 'our grave' in the French church. 26 Dec 1779: death of [uncle] Thomas Hope, aged exactly 75 years, having died on his birthday; buried in the Western church, Amsterdam 31 Dec Friday 9 Mar 1781, at 3.15pm: in Amsterdam - death of [Uncle] Adrain Hope, aged 71 years, 11 Months and 21 days, after being 73 weeks bedridden, having been seized with a violent paraletic stroke on Oct 1779. Buried 15 Mar 1781 in ithe family grave in the French church.
