The land purchased from Ibbett is a cottage and land in Tempsford; Ibbett's father, Reuben Ibbitt, purchased it it 1901 from Magdalen College, Oxford, and paid £160. The sale to Stuart was agreed at £200. Reference to the estate duty payable. The land purchased from Lord Lucas is in Blunham, an area of land of about 2 acres, purchased by Stuart for £65, to include the timber.
