Reisdents' Case Files

These case files contain some or all of the following information: social services dept. ‘ Pen Pictures ’ giving name of child, date and place of birth, and physical description ; a daily record of the child’s behaviour and activities both at the Home and outside, e.g. at school, with peers, etc. ; a record of disposal of earnings and balances held ; a keyworker report on the child’s progress ; progress at school ; report of the child’s family background ; Review of Child or Young Person forms ; involvement with police and courts ; and medical record cards. The list gives name of child ; date of birth ; and covering dates of file. Closed for 100 years from date of birth
