    Being uncertain what papers are wanted, has sent them all. Has mislaid copy of despatch published by East India Company Directors. Has also sent his abstract of the important points of the papers. The Directors' reasons for the dilapidated state of Oudh. Scindia & his force given as a reason for seizing it. Scindia had 40 French officers in his force under Perron. Lord Wellesley considered him a barrier between Oudh & Zaman Shah.
