    Sends correspondence which has passed between the Baron de Berenger and Lord Sidmouth. The Baron is in Newgate with bail refused, but his bail and money have been returned. The seizure of his clothes, money and papers are not sanctioned by the Aliens Act. It is the intention of the Govt. to put every obstacle in the way of the Baron defending himself at the coming trial. The Chief Justice of the Kings Bench, having expressed his opinion of their guilt, writer will object to him. The treatment of the Baron is scandalous.
