P.O.Box 4126, Cape Town. Stamped with 1 x 5 cent and 1 x 2 cent stamps. Franked "PORT ELIZABETH 9.00 2-I-1966". "We have just left Capetown after days of drives, parties, dinners, bathes - I'm glad to be back on deck to relax in the sun. The same friends who were at the docks to meet Miss.E and myself 26 years ago were there again! This is a Dutch ship - crew and stewards Chinese - all very attentive. It's wonderful to be in the warmth and sunshine again, after that dreary November in England. We are 12 passengers - American, British, Dutch. Hope you are not having too severe a winter. We heard the Queen's Speech over the radio. J.H." [Note on card "Received 4/1/66".]
