Stamped with 2 x Cr$50 stamps showing a picture of Jose Bonifacio and franked "Santos APT Sp. 20 Jan 1964". "This is the famous statue of Our Lord towering up above Rio. You see it from far out at sea as you approach. We had 15 days at sea after leaving Jugoslavia, in lovely sunshine mostly. There are 14 passengers - all agreeable and some very interesting. I have made friends among the officers and crew, as on the Jesenice last year, and spend my evenings in their company. I hope you are not having another arctic winter. I am busy writing 50 p.c.s. Imagine the postage cost! Worse than christmas cards! J.H." [Note at the bottom stating "Received 25/1/64"]
