A complete statement of his case. He is Perpetual Curate of St Margaret's, Lynn, and vicar of Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire, in the same diocese. He is being prosecuted for not complying with the act in getting a licence for non-residence. He applied for a licence but his Bishop thought it unnecessary. He has never been absent from one or other of his cures for more than a few days. The informer offered a compromise which Mr. Allen, secure in the thought of his rectitude, refused.
