Legend on the back reads "Sgor Na Ciche (Rock of the Pap) and Glencoe from Onich, Loch Leven. The Appin Stewart country in the county of Argyll". Stamped with a 3d stamp and franked "Hawick, Roxburghshire 2PM 25 AUG 1962". Reads as: "We have had appalling weather all the time I have been in Scotland. The glass has pointed steadily to RAIN - but there is plenty of lively and interesting company, and we have visited some beautiful houses. I go to Yorkshire at the end of next week, back to K. sometime in Sept. to prepare for the Far East. J.H."
