Mary Cater was admitted to the lands 8 Sep 1749 on the death of Oxwick Cater [WY1033/4/3] Sophia Cater, Frances Cater and Mary Cater, the 3 daughters of John Cater were admitted on 17 Oct 1794, on the death of Dame Mary Knollys [nee Cater] , in accordance with the terms of her Will. [WY1033/4/8] - 22 acres 2 roods arable in the common fields of Kempston - 2 acres 2 roods meadow, purchased off John Barker - 3 acres meadow with appurtenances in Earls Holme purchased of ___ Courtman and Sarah his wife Beckford Kendall Carter, uncle of Oxwick Cater, was admitted 8 Sep 1749 on the death of Oxwick Cater John Cater was admitted 15 Oct 1770, on death of his father Beckford Kendall Carter John Cater, son of John Cater admitted 13 May 1778, on death of his father Sophia Cater, Frances Cater and Mary Cater, grand-daughters of Beckford Kendall Carter, daughters of John Cater and sisters of John Cater the son admitted 20 Oct 1784 on the death of John Cater the son. Sophia Cater is now the wife of Robert Sherbourne; Frances Cater is now the widow of Thomas Spencer.
